Sea Turtle Rescue Overnight

Fri, Nov 18

|

Mass Audubon Wellfleet Sanctuary

Each year, several thousand young sea turtles get trapped in Cape Cod Bay and cannot find their way out before the weather turns cold. Three species – Loggerhead, Green and Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles – become “stunned”, essentially paralyzed, and wash ashore. We will work to rescue them.
