About the event

Join us once again for this popular adventure to Delaware and Maryland to see owls and wintering waterfowl.

We will meet on Saturday at 9 am at Bombay Hook NWR Visitor Center (2501 Refuge Entrance Rd. Smyrna, DE 19977) and we'll also explore other Delaware locations. Overnight in Dover, Delaware.  Sunday, we will proceed to Blackwater NWR in Cambridge, MD. That evening we will join the research crew from the Maryland Farmland Raptor Program as they attempt to capture, band and collect data on the wintering Short-eared Owls in the Refuge. Overnight in Cambridge, MD. 


A portion of the trip fee will provide a donation to the Maryland Farmland Raptor Program.


Trip cost is $67 per person for members and $87 for nonmembers (please use the ticket option that includes an additional $3 if paying with PayPal).
