Cape Cod Cold-stunned Sea Turtle Rescue

Adventuresome participants can help rescue endangered sea turtles stunned by cold water in Cape Cod Bay. Volunteering with Mass Audubon Wellfleet, we will stay in Provincetown, MA and receive training before monitoring beaches.

About the event
We will arrive at the Mass Audubon Wellfleet facility on Friday, Dec. 1, at noon for an orientation/training talk, and then start our high tide beach walks immediately following the orientation. Additional walks will be held Saturday afternoon and late Sunday morning. A grand heartfelt thank you to the JES Avanti Foundation for providing a generous donation to Mass Audubon Wellfleet on behalf of Caretta Inspired Journeys for this trip. Transportation to Cape Cod and meals will be on your own.
